Almond Milk is an alternative to diary milk. With a delicious and creamy consistency. great for people who are lactose intolerant it not just for Vegans
- 300g whole raw almonds
- 1 litre filtered water
- 1 tablespoon agave or 4 pitted dates
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1/2 vanilla pod)
- Muslin cloth or nut bag to strain liquid
- Large bowl or jug
Best to soak Almonds overnight in water.
Strain liquid through the muslin cloth and squeeze as much liquid from the pulp as possible into bowl.
Pulp can been re-used in cookies etc.
Add almond milk to jug or bottle
Before serving chill and shake or stir before pouring into glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.
